Sweet Chili Pork Relish

Ingredients:
1 fluid ounce grape seed oil
2 tablespoons minced white onion
1 teaspoon minced garlic
2.25 ounces Lorissa’s Kitchen Sweet Chili Pork Protein Snack
½ cup of sugar
½ cup of apple cider vinaigrette
2 tablespoons chopped fresh curly parsley
Salt and pepper to taste

Method:
1. Heat the oil in a sauce pot on medium
2. Add the onion, garlic and Lorissa’s Kitchen Sweet Chili Pork Protein Snack to the pot and cook while occasionally stirring for 5 to 8 minutes or until the onions are tender and translucent
3. Add the sugar and apple cider vinegar and stir until evenly combined
4. Bring the liquid up to a boil and then immediately reduce the heat so it is simmering
5. Simmer the mixture until it has reduce by ¾ or there is enough left to just be covering the solids
6. Remove from the heat and mix in the parsley, salt and pepper
7. Use this as a spread on toast points, breakfast toast, sandwiches, wraps or even canapés
